Bobby was a member of our unit who trained with us and deployed with the original group out of Fort Lewis, Washington.

He was a well respected soldier who could be relied on when the times got tough, which happened with regularity during our tour. They say that you can tell your friends by how they behave when times get tough. He was a loyal friend and no finer epitaph can be written for the Quiet Man from Ohio. He will always be remembered fondly for his good natured approach to the sacrifices that we shared in the jungles of Vietnam. We'll miss you Brother and regret the missed opportunity of seeing you one last time before your loss.
