MAY 22ND, 2004
On May 22nd a group of Association members traveled to Chatham, Massachusetts to attend a tribute to Ken Nickerson, Tom's Dad, who passed away in late March, 2004. Ken Nickerson was a highly decorated World War II paratrooper who spent three months in a POW Camp in Germany until liberated by allied troops. He returned home and began a family which consisted of 7 sons. Tommy, the oldest of the group, served in A/2/12 and was killed in action while serving with us
