Doc Evans in the A/2/12 Bivouac area
Note the towel around his neck, which was the
practice for troops beating the bush in Vietnam, to
absorb their perspiration. On his far side you can see
the Medical Kit that all medics brought into battle.
The makeshift washing area was built by the men out
of any lumber that they could muster up. The
Clothesline was used to dry hand-washed garments, a
common practice during infrequent stays in camp.
