Frank, 1967 Frank, 2001 Reunion
Frank Balasus, a Brother of the Association and member of the original contingent of A/2/12, Fort Lewis to Vietnam, has passed on as of October 16th, 2001. We are saddened by Frank's loss, but take solace in the short time we were allowed to spend with him at the Grand Reunion. That time will be treasured. You left us too soon Brother. Frank Balasus will always be remembered as he was, a proud man who was loyal and dedicated to his fellow Company Brothers.
Frank' s favorite song was written and sung by a local Baltimore celebrity named Al Parsons. In it Al sings of the pain that endures with some of the men who fought in the Vietnam Conflict. He has graciously allowed us to post this most moving tribute to the Vietnam Veteran on our site.
